During the day, you will be driven to the cute, little town of Radda in Chianti, to the Volpaia castle and to a winery of this area, for a tour and tasting of absolute quality.
Not only that, you can also choose if you prefer to have lunch in Radda or in the winery.
The town of Radda is truly enchanting and full of history. It dates back to the 9th century and, under Florentine control, it was the headquarters of the Chianti League.
The Volpaia castle dates back to the Middle Ages, as far as the hospitality and the wine making are concerned. Today, this small and pretty village is intimately involved in the production of wine and olive oil. All the main monuments here are united together by an extraordinary underground “wineduct”.
In addition, you will be accompanied for the entire day by one of the most beautiful landscapes you have ever seen!
Your Itinerary
- You will be guided to the Chianti Classico region, towards the Castello di Volpaia. You will have the opportunity to stop for some nice photos on your way!
- IDEA N. 1: with this option, you choose to have lunch in the pretty typical town of Radda in Chianti. After lunch, you will be accompanied to the winery for a tour and tasting
- IDEA N. 2: this choice is for lunch directly at the winery. Afterwards you will be driven to Radda in Chianti.
- Departure and return to your accommodation. You will find that especially the first part of the route from here is stunning!
You will have our English speaking driver and recent and comfortable Mercedes minivan – 7 or 8 passengers plus driver – at your disposal for the entire duration of the tour. All of our vehicles are full optional, also comprehensive of bottles of cold water and WiFi connection.
