Today you will be glad to discover the part of the Tuscany region that’s within your reach. You will also visit the fantastic town of San Gimignano with your guide, having free time for shopping if you wish.
First you will be accompanied to this pretty town, rich in history and full of medieval monuments: get ready to take some nice photos of the squares and the unique, tall towers made of ancient stones!
Then you will lunch in a typical Tuscan restaurant of this town, which we strongly recommend.
After lunch you will be accompanied to discover a delicious example of the oldest certified and guaranteed Italian wine, the Vernaccia di San Gimignano, in a wonderful winery of this area. You will appreciate both the estate, located in the hilly landscape of San Gimignano, and the cellar of this place, which is still family-run.
Your Itinerary
- Our driving guide will pick you up at your accommodation and take you to San Gimignano, an essential destination in this part of the Tuscan countryside. Free time for a visit and shopping here
- Next, lunch in a truly excellent restaurant right in the center of this town
- You will be driven to a recommended and historic winery of this area for a wine tour, also to taste the exquisite Vernaccia produced here. Return to your accommodation later
You will have our English speaking driver and recent and comfortable Mercedes minivan – 7 or 8 passengers plus driver – at your disposal for the entire duration of the tour. All of our vehicles are full optional, also comprehensive of bottles of cold water and WiFi connection.
