Both the towns will welcome you from the top of their hills, while you admire their sweet landscape. You will discover the towns with your guide if you wish, having free time for shopping too.

The next stop will be really exciting: the city of Volterra offers many beautiful corners and alleys to go through, as well as many monuments and heritage of the past. From Piazza dei Priori to the Duomo, from the ancient passage of Arco to the ancient Roman theater. You will certainly also appreciate the sceneries of the boundless land that surrounds this town at the foot of the hill, on whose summit you will stand.
Your Itinerary
- Departure from your accommodation. You will drive to the charming historic village of San Gimignano: its numerous medieval towers await you. Along the way you will be struck by the beauty of the Tuscan countryside and by the wonderful view of the landscape that opens up under the hill
- A superb visit to the town center of San Gimignano. Free time also for shopping. Don’t miss the chance to taste the delicious “gelato” in the main square here, if you wish. Get ready for a wonderful Tuscan lunch you will remember!
- Depart San Gimignano and drive to Volterra. Approx. 50 minutes drive
- Visit to Volterra. Many beautiful squares, narrow streets and typical shops here
- Depart Volterra and back to your accommodation.
